The Butterfly Project

In 2023, Wabanaki Youth in Science shared their Indigenous-Led Butterfly Project with western educators. A cohort was created to form a relationship between these educators and Indigenous knowledge sharers, with the hope of incorporating Indigenous ways of thinking and knowing into western education.

This film itself was a partnership between our production company and Logan Dana, a young indigenous director based in Maine. We provided resources for pre-production, production, and post-production, and were honored to support Logan’s vision as it developed into the final film.
